Pile on, ladies and gentlemen:Hypocrisy Watch: Representative Lynn Jenkins Puts Politics First on Supplemental Funding
Today Congress voted on the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2009, which includes funding for American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as money to fight the H1N1 flu pandemic. When she had the choice, Representative Lynn Jenkins sided with Republican leaders in playing politics with this urgently needed money.
“Republicans never hesitated to criticize any Democrat who voted against the previous supplemental bills, but now that they are trying to score political points, their stance conveniently changed,” said Ryan Rudominer, National Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Today, Representative Jenkins chose to play politics with this important money for the troops and to fight the H1N1 flu pandemic.”
It does come down to this, though, folk: If Lynn Jenkins has gotten her way, our men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan would find themselves on the battlefield in September without support. She'd rather continue voting the way her leadership tells her she must than do what is right for Kansans serving abroad. Think what you want about the wars- I want them over today, too- but this is a shocking course of action from a women with two military bases in her district.

Number 5 the last 24 hours... Again, this story is as much about the rest of the Kansas delegation as it is about Lynn, why not slam them?
You should just re-brand your Boyda Bloc blog to cover all of your Jenkins-related posts. That's all that blog consisted of anyway.
I think the Jenkins assbags have adopted a new online strategy, deciding they were getting their asses kicked on the computer interwebs thingy. Last week, after having a Twitter account for months, @RepLynnJenkins decided to go ahead and follow people, even though the account had never followed anyone. Today, @RepLynnJenkins is following 986 people, clearly a change in strategy for the assbag camp. Then, we had never heard a peep out of the assbags, and now we are getting hits on the forums for them, mostly, I think, bceause they were outed yesterday by Jason.
So, you sacks of shit wanna play on the interwebs, huh? Let's do it! Or are y'all just playing defense with stupid, chide remarks on blog forums?
Does Jenkins have veneers, caps, or are those dentures?
What exactly, oh eloquent poster at 2:34, is an 'assbag'?
I don't know what exactly 2:34 meant by 'assbag,' but my guess is that term might include anyone attached to a Congress member's staff that expresses outrage about a constituent's political blog covering ...um...politics.
I get the sense that Rep. Jenkins is made uncomfortable by an active and interested constituency. You know, Representatives in other parts of the country really desire engagement with the citizens they are supposedly representing. Just saying.
Actually, the DCCC didn't send out a press release regarding anyone but Jenkins- because she's the only Republican in the KS delegation running for re-election in 2010.
That's why this blog is writing about Lynn Jenkins.
Ya, and if you'll notice there have been quite a few posts about Reps. Tiahrt and Moran's Senate race. The Legislature's not in session and the election is still 17 monhts away, what do you want from him?
"what do you want from him?"

Leave Lynnie alone!

Ryan and Jenkins beat up on Boyda for her votes against troop funding. I guess the Republicans will not bring that up in 2010.
LOL- crybaby Republicans only trot out the "he's just posting about lynn because he's pissed about boyda" when she's actually done some stupid shit and they don't have a defense for her.
get a clue, republicans- jenkins just traded supporting the troops for another chance to have john boehner smile at her in the cafeteria after lunch.
To be fair, Boehner smiling is a fairly rare occurance; it probably made the vote worth it.
